September 13, 2012

Asa to Yoru no Monogatari [Roman] – 朝と夜の物語 – The Story of Morning and Evening

umarete kuru asa to shinde yuku yoru no monogatari [roman]
aa… boku-tachi no kono sabishisa wa yoku nita iro o shita houseki [pierre]

The story of the morning of my birth and the night of my death
Ah… this loneliness of ours is a jewel of a similar color

umarete kuru imi shinde yuku imi kimi ga ikite iru ima
11-moji no dengon [message] gensou monogatari “daigo no chiheisen”

The meaning of birth, the meaning of death, the present in which you live
An eleven-lettered message, an illusory story, “The Fifth Horizon”

(soko ni ROMAN wa aru no darou ka?)

(“I wonder if a story could be found over there?”)

nakinagara boku-tachi wa kuru onaji kurushimi o dakishimete
warainagara boku-tachi wa yuku haruka chiheisen no mukou e

We come crying, embracing the same hardship
We go laughing, beyond the distant horizon

meguriau kimi no kuchibiru ni aa… boku no uta o tomosou…
itsu no hi ka tsunagaru monogatari [roman]–

Ah, after our chance meeting, illuminate my song with your lips…
The story that will someday connect us–

nakinagara boku-tachi wa kuru onaji kanashimi o dakishimete
warainagara boku-tachi wa yuku haruka chiheisen no mukou e

We come crying, embracing the same sadness
We go laughing, beyond the distant horizon

meguriau kimi no kuchibiru ni aa… boku no uta o tomosou…
boku-tachi ga tsunagaru monogatari [roman]

Ah, after our chance meeting, illuminate my song with your lips…
The story that connects us–

umarete kuru asa to shinde yuku yoru no monogatari [roman]…
aa… boku-tachi no kono setsunasa wa yoku nita iro o shita mika [fleur]

The story of the morning of my birth and the night of my death
Ah… this transience of ours is a flower of a similar color

taiyou no fuusha tsuki no yurikago samayoeru honoo [hikari] no monogatari [roman]
kowareta ningyou mukuro no otoko toki o kataru gensou [yami] no monogatari [roman]

The windmill of the sun, the cradle of the moon, the story of a wandering flame
Two broken dolls, a deceased man, the story of an illusion [darkness] which deceives time

migiude ni wa sumire no himegimi…
soshite… [Et…]
hidariude ni wa ajisai no himegimi…

In my right arm was the Violet Princess [Violette]…
And…
In my left arm was the Hydrangea Princess [Hortense]…

Ah… please journey in my stead to that other world–
I wonder if the story of my birth could be found there?

We are wandering windmills, turning in the wind of memory
Revolving to illuminate the stories of many horizons…
