Sound Horizon – Unmei no Futago (Didymoi)

August 26, 2014

Unmei no Futago (Didymoi) – 運命の双子 (Διδυμοι) – Twins of Fate (Didymoi)

And then … the place to which the sisters descend is…
The scenic mountains of Arcadia,
which later became known to all as a paradeisos.

(“Matte yo Misia!”
“Elef!”
“Hayaku hayaku!”
“Ee-”
“Kocchi!”)

(“Wait up, Misia!”
“Elef!”
“Hurry, hurry!”
“Eh-”
“Over here!”)

The spectacle of the autumn twilight,
like a playing child who has yet to discover the world’s malice.

(“Oishii!”
“Mo-ratta!”
“Ee-? Chotto-! Ee-”
“Kocchi!”
“A! Kirei da ne?”
“Un, kirei da ne!”)

(“Mm, tasty!”
“For me? Thanks!”
“Huh? Hey! What…”
“Over here!”
“Ah! Isn’t it pretty?”
“Yeah, it’s pretty, isn’t it!”)

(“Uwaa, itaai…!”
“Hayaku!”
“Nee nee, kocchi kocchi!”
“Matte yo Misia!”
“Kocchi kocchi!”)

(“Ahh, ouch…!”
“Hurry!”
“Hey, hey, over here!”
“Wait up, Misia!”
“Over here!”)

「Misia、Misia」
「Elef、Elef」)

(“Zutto issho ni iyou ne”
“Un! Iyou ne”
“Misia, Misia”
“Elef, Elef”)

(“Let’s be together forever!”
“Yes, let’s!”
“Misia, Misia!”
“Elef, Elef!”)

And… as the Chronos is woven,
The cogwheel gently starts to revolve again…

(Theoi, fine thema einai gia mono dyo
Theoi, fine thema einai gia mono dyo)

(O Gods, your beautiful scenery is for those two alone
O Gods, your beautiful scenery is for those two alone)

nidoto kaerazaru awaki shounen no hibi
sora o kakeru tori wa dokomademo toberu to shinjite’ta

In the fleeting days of boyhood which would never come again
He believed that the soaring bird could fly anywhere

yagate furikaeru awaki shoujo no hibi
mizu ni utsuru tsuki o itsu no hi ka toreru to shinjite’ta

In the fleeting days girlhood which would soon be behind her
She believed she would someday grasp the moon she saw reflected in the water

(umareta toki kara issho datta)
(futari wa itsumo issho datta)
(taezu issho datta)
yasashii chichi to utsukushii haha to
sonna hibi ga itsumademo tsudzuite yuku to shinjite’ta)

(The two of them had been together since birth)
(The two of them were always together)
(They were together constantly)
They believed that those days with their kind father and beautiful mother
Would go on forever

unmei [Moira] ni aragau mono to kanojo o ukeireru mono
aa… unmei [kami] o ayameru mono to sadame ni sasagerareru mono

Those who defy Moira and those who accept her
Ah… those who kill the goddess and those who are sacrificed to fate

noyama o kakemegutta nagareru kumo oikakete

They ran over hill and dale, chasing the flowing clouds
With the scent floating in the twilight, they raced each other home…

(Mono einai didymoi)

(They were only twins…)

The cunning scorpion’s shadow…

「Scorpius
「Elfina!
「Elef、Misia、

(“Sagashita zo, Polydeuces”
“Scorpius denka!?”
“Arcadia no souheki to utawareta yuusha ga konna yamaoku de inton seikatsu desu na…
Kisama, naze ken o suteta?”
“Tadaima, Otou-san!”
“Tadaima, Okaa-san!”
“Hoho… Toraero!”
“Elfina! Kodomo-tachi o tsurete nigenasai!”
“Elef, Misia, kocchi yo!”
“Un!”
“Laconia gun wa sude ni shouaku shita. Polydeuces, watashi no moto de ugoke”
“Kotowaru, to moushiagereba?”
“Naraba meifu no ou ni demo tsukaero!”)

(“I’ve been looking for you, Polydeuces.”
“Prince Scorpius!?”
“To think the hero known as the Jewel of Arcadia would be living like a hermit deep in the mountains…
You bastard, why did you throw away your sword?”
“Even if I explained myself, someone as ambitious as you would never understand.”
“We’re home, Dad!”
“We’re home, Mom!”
“Hoho…
“Ah…”
“Seize them!”
“Elfina! Take the children and run!”
“Elef, Misia! This way!”
“Mm!”
“I’ve already taken control of the Laconian army. Polydeuces, come work for me.”
“And if I refuse?”
“Then you may serve the King of the Dead instead…!”)

Once it starts, nobody can stop the revolving cogwheel.
