Cocco – Dolorina Gilsé

November 4, 2014

Dolorina Gilsé –

DORORI
atashi no naka kara
ochita anata
aisarenai
TAIMINGU
aa, mi o tsukenai
konna hana wa
aa, ame o matsu

Dolori [1]
The timing
Of not being loved by
You who fell
From inside me
Ah, this flower
Which will not bear fruit
Ah, waits for the rain

sawarikata o kikou ka
sawararekata o kikou ka

Should I ask how to touch?
Should I ask how to be touched?

datte mou wasureta
amari ni tookute iei
HOREta HAREta de
hara wa mitanu

But I’ve already forgotten
The funeral portrait which is not far away
Being lovey-dovey
Won’t fill my stomach

dakedo mite
konna o-tenki
kono sora ni mioboe ga aru

But look
In this kind of weather
In this sky, there’s a memory

Non

DORORI
atashi no naka kara
ochita anata
aisarenai
TAIMINGU
aa, mi o tsukenai
konna hana wa
aa, ame ga suki

Dolori
The timing
Of not being loved by
You who fell
From inside me
Ah, this flower
Which will not bear fruit
Ah, loves the rain

mo sukoshi koko de nemutte
ne koe ni dashitara kikoeru?

Sleep here just a little longer
Hey, if I called out, would you hear me?

karada-juu dokodemo
saigo made shite ne IEI
nokoriga no aru
anata no aji

All over my body, everywhere
Do this until the end, yeah
There’s a lingering scent
In your taste

aoi hana
kogoete saita
itsudatte kotae o shitte’ru

The budding flower
Froze and bloomed
Always knowing the answer

Non

DORORI
kakimaze deau no
sayounara wa
iranai no yo
DAIBINGU
aa, nomikomarete
nao mo yume wa aa

Dolori
Mixed together, we meet
I don’t need
Goodbyes
Diving
Ah, even now my dreams
Are swallowed up, ah

atashi no naka kara
ochita anata

You who fell
From inside me

atashi o tsutaette
nagare nagarete’ku

Tell me
Flowing, flowing

aa, nurete
aa, ame o matsu

Ah, wet
Ah, waiting for the rain

Notes:

[1] “Dorori” is both an apparent reference to the Dolorina of the title and a word meaning “muddy” (which, given the rain imagery, is not likely to be a coincidence).

(Original lyrics by Cocco.)
