Tsuki no Hikari Hana – 月ノ光リ花 – Moonlight Flower

las lágrimas si se caen por casualidad
sobre esta semilla va a germinar

If tears should fall by chance
On this seed, it will sprout

aparece solamente en las noches
de plena luna, giraluna

It appears only on the nights
Of the full moon, the moonflower[1]

ćuantas horas aqui tengo que dormir
para que me encuentres

How many hours do I have to sleep here
For you to find me?

las flores tienen una sola noche
de vida nada más. giraluna antes de amanecer

The flowers live for a single night,
No more. Moonflower, before dawn

la flor seca se hace cristal,
se rompe en pedazos esperan las lagrimas giraluna

The flower dries and becomes crystal,
It breaks into pieces awaiting tears–moonflower

cuántas horas aqui tengo que dormir
para que me encuentres

How many hours do I have to sleep here
For you to find me?

嗚呼 僕らもう夢を見られない だから
只 呼吸を 只 続けるように 生きていく

aa bokura mou yume o mirarenai dakara
tada nikyuu o tada tsudzukeru you ni ikite iku

Ah, we can’t have dreams anymore
So we just live just to continue breathing

Notes:

[1] The word for “sunflower” in Spanish is “girasol,” with “sol” meaning “sun”, so “giraluna”, with “luna” meaning “moon”, is a play on that.
