Shoujobyou – Rusty Red

December 12, 2017

“Shoujo wa chikara o hoshite ita. Kyoudai na, daremo aragaenu hodo no chikara o.
Kanojo ga wasuresarareta haikyo kara mitsukedashita mono wa, inishie no kami ga nokoshita seigai.
kami no kiseki to demo iubeki chikara de–“

“The girl wanted power. A tremendous power that no one would be able to stand up against.
In forgotten ruins, she found a relic that an ancient god had left behind.
The instant that her hand touched that holy treasure, she lost consciousness.
But when she awoke, her body held
A power that could even be called a miracle–”

“Kore ga, kore koso ga watashi no motomete ita–!”

“This is, this is the very thing I’ve been searching for–!”

anji meita chisetsu na kotoba ga jiga o karametoru

The clumsy words that seem like a hint tie up her self
Entrusting her body to the overgrown, mottled leaves, the girl sang an improvised song

gekitetsu de okosareta horobi no yume o datai shite
ryoute de hishaku o katadori kanjou o sukutta

Awakened by the firing hammer, aborting the illusion of destruction
She formed a ladle with her hands and scooped up feelings

shuumatsu e no tokei o motte sono hari o mawashitsudzukeru mono ga iru
“Sou.

There are those who, possessing a clock that counts down to the end, keep on advancing the hands
“Yes. Then, to start with, shall we try supporting that?”

idenshi ga zero kara kakikaerareta
shoujo no shinzou fuukei e to hibiita

Her DNA was rewritten from zero
Yes, an awakening so vivid it is almost hallucination
The gloomy melody that was free yet not free
Echoed deeply from the girl’s heart to the surrounding scenery

tanin no kanjou ga senritsu to shite kikoeru you ni naru to iu.
Sore ga yasashii kanjou nara yawaraka na senritsu o.
Tsuyoi okori naraba hageshii senritsu o kanadete.
Aru shu no zennoukan wa, shoujo o chikara ni yowasete–“

“Those who touch the holy relic
Are said to become able to hear other people’s feelings as melodies.
If those feelings are kind, it will be a soft melody.
If they are very angry, a harsh melody will be played.
With that kernel of a feeling of omnipotence, the girl becomes drunk on power–”

ah…

ah… kanjou o mitooseru to iu koto wa
sono koudou made mo subete mitoosete shimaete…

Ah… having an unobstructed view of people’s feelings
Means being able to predict their actions, too…

aa, hitori no shoujo no sore wa higeki?
aa, kowarete hyoujou no sore wa kigeki?
aa, tohou mo nai chikara ni tandeki shite iku you ni

Ah, the lonely girl–is that a tragedy?
Ah, the broken expression–is that a comedy?
Ah, it’s as if she’s overindulging in this extraordinary power

idenshi ga zero kara kakikaerareta
shoujo no shinzou fuukei e to hibiite
kuruizake kami no na o uketsugi shi seijo yo
sendousha o motomeru hitobito o shitagaete
ah… shifuku no shunkan o tada tsumikasaneta

Her DNA was rewritten from zero
Yes, an awakening so vivid it is almost hallucination
The gloomy melody that is free yet not free
Echoes deeply from the girl’s heart to the surrounding scenery
Blooming wildly, she becomes a saint who takes on the name of a god
Accompanied by people who seek a leader
With the thought that was pure yet impure still shut away
Ah… she simply passed her time in the shadows

mou dare mo inakatta–

No matter what deeds stained her hands,
No one appeared to blame her for it
Now there was no one–

“Shoujo wa inishie no kami no na o tsugi,
seijo ANASUTASHIA to na o kaeta.
ooku no shinpousha ga atsumaru made ni jikan wa kakaranakatta.
Keredo donna ni agamerareyou to,
Sonna toki, ANASUTASHIA wa tooi MIRASHUKA no kuni o tsukasadoru wakaki ou,
KATARINA ni tsuite no uwasa o mimi ni suru”

“Taking on the name of an ancient god,
The girl renamed herself Saint Anastasia.
Because the many prophecies she made using her power were fitting for a saint,
It didn’t take long for her to accumulate many followers.
But no matter how much she was worshipped,
She remained simply a leader who was suspect and lacking in social status.
Then a rumor came to Anastasia’s ears of the young king Katerina,
Who ruled the distant country of Mirashka”

“Kibyou o wazurau kanojo ni kono seigai no chikara ga arawareta nara, kitto….
— Fufu, omoshiroi koto ni narisou”

“If the power of the holy relic appears to this girl king who suffers from a strange illness…
— Heh heh, it should be interesting”
